Belonging is the Cause and Key

Belonging is the Cause and Key

I get depressed when I go out into nature.
The forest is no longer a forest but a spruce plantation.

I feel sad when I hear the fluttering of the common swifts in the spring evening.
There are only two this year; they were a big flock a few years ago.

I am not animated by the sunny and warm May weather.
The weather records scare me.

It is easy to point fingers and find scapegoats.
And yes, some destroy more than others.
But we all belong. We are all parts.

Belonging is the cause of our global crises and the key to a different future.

We are part of humanity, which is part of the biosphere, which is part of the planet, which is part of the universe.
We live these great systems, expressing them through all our actions.
There is no separation.

We are the Embraces of Humanity, the Biosphere, the Planet, and the Universe.
We are all these extensive systems.
As One.
